The country's third telecommunications giant set to compete against Globe Telecom and PLDT-Smart ends the year 2020 on a high note as they mark another key milestone. 


Last December 9, 2020, DITO Telecommunity inaugurated their state-of-the-art Network Operations and Security Operations Center. 


Present during the said inauguration of the high-tech facilities were DITO Chief Administrative Officer Atty. Adel Tamano, DITO Chief Technology Officer Retired Major General Rodolfo Santiago, and the Philippine National Security Adviser, the Honorable Secretary Hermogenes Esperon Jr. 

The DITO Network Operation Center (NOC) is located at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, Metro Manila. 



DITO NOC is also known as the "Network Management Center" which will be involved in both proactive and reactive monitoring of technology system. 

During the said event social distancing and proper health protocols were observed throughout the activity. Face masks and face shields were only temporarily taken off during the photo op.


A network operations center, also known as a "network management center", is one or more locations from which network monitoring and control, or network management, is exercised over a computer, telecommunication or satellite network.


According to DITO Telecom the company is  ready for the technical audit and making sure that the network is ready for the market rollout in March


The company also recruited an Armed Forces personnel who's an expert in cybersecurity. DITO Telecom is trying to copy the connectedness of South Korea. They are on track to cover 90% of the country in 5 years.
